My friend and I couldn’t ignore the photos, especially since people were treating her as if she was contagious. It made me feel sick and angry.
When I saw her in person, I felt terrible. We cleaned her eyes and a lot of puss came out of one of them. She had a bad case of conjunctivitis, but with daily cleaning and cream, she would recover. We named her Maisie and she started cleaning herself.
On day 3, she was doing much better, and her eyes were improving. Despite her fake hunger alarms, we spoiled her and made her comfortable. On day 32, she was a happy baby, and on day 90, she was adopted by a loving family. She transformed into a healthy and happy cat, and she deserved a happy life forever.
