It breaks my heart to see this little one, who has extreme anemia, cachexia, and skin problems, in addition to pure diarrhea with parasites. Luckily, we were able to deworm her immediately, but her conditions left us very scared.
We brought her to a clinic for urgent blood tests and a skin scraping. Because she is completely hairless, she always feels cold, and her skin is entirely exposed. We named her Princess, and she’s very scared. We don’t know how much mistreatment she has endured beyond what her physical condition reveals.
The treatment is long and complex, but we’re hopeful that everything will be fine. On the third day, she began to eat and drink water a little bit, and slowly she has been recovering and eating more. Her severe stomach infection treatment was completed, and after 9 days since her rescue, her recovery is going very well. She no longer has an infection in her eyes, and we’ve seen really positive changes in her overall condition.
