Bethany’s Journey to Happiness
Bethany, a 10-month-old puppy, was hit by a truck and left helpless on the ground for three days until her rescuer found her. She had a broken spine, wounds covered in flies, and no one else to help her. After receiving the necessary treatment and care from a vet, she was diagnosed as paralyzed and would need a wheelchair. Despite the challenging prognosis, her rescuer remained hopeful that she might run on her own one day.
As Bethany’s condition improved, she was taken out of the vet clinic and placed in a soft bed in a foster home. She received the love and care she needed, and soon her smile returned. She was finally ready for her forever home in the UK.
Bethany’s journey was not an easy one, but her resilience and the kindness of her rescuers made all the difference. She went from a life on the streets, viewing other dogs as competition, to a confident and happy pup. She now enjoys swimming in lakes and racing ahead to get there. Bethany is a perfect example of the incredible transformations that can occur with love and care.
