One day, while out for a walk, my son spotted something moving in a nearby bush. Upon investigation, we discovered a small, severely anemic, dehydrated, and malnourished puppy who was later diagnosed with pneumonia. We immediately took him to the vet, where he received three blood transfusions and daily IV antibiotics. Earnie was exhausted and mostly slept for the first few days.

On November 1, 2022, we took Earnie home from the vet, and he was initially very scared and nervous, walking around the house and hiding in his brother’s bag. His brother had to hold him at night so he could sleep. However, after a few days, Earnie became more active and got used to his new bed. He even made friends with Alfie, our previous rescue, and turned into a very naughty boy, playing with him.

After a week, Earnie’s health improved significantly, and he started playing with his cousin and growing bigger each day. We watched Home Alone with him, and he even joined us on our first family trip. Earnie is a super cute puppy who has brought so much joy to our family. We are grateful for his rescue and recovery and know that he will be a beloved family member forever.
