I was truly shocked when I saw this. A small, fragile, completely bewildered body that was found in Armavir. This kid, whom they named Vito, was so lonely and exhausted that he seemed absolutely unnecessary to anyone until now.
He was just a rag, barely alive, with blood pressure low and vomiting after eating. They rushed him to the ICU, took blood tests, and waited for ultrasound, x-ray, and infection tests.
Vito was extremely malnourished and dehydrated, with the strongest bacterial inflammatory process and worms in his lungs/heart. Today, he received a blood transfusion, and parenteral nutrition was connected since his gastrointestinal tract did not work. Fortunately, the preparations for the gastrointestinal tract started working, and he had an appetite, an interest in life, and began walking around a little more vigorously.
Despite all the difficulties, Vito’s interest in life grew, and he was clinically better than when he was admitted. The doctors treated his bedsores, and Vito was switched to pills. He was discharged from the clinic, but there was still a long road to recovery ahead.
At home, Vito’s progress continued. He began gaining weight, healing bed sores, and going up and down the stairs, which was a significant achievement for him because of his vision problems. Although he was blind in one eye, Vito was turning into a handsome prince, and his weight increased to 9 kg.
It’s incredible to think that Vito experienced so much pain and loneliness before finding warmth and care. He transformed before their eyes from a shabby “old man” into a happy, healthy dog. Vito’s heartwarming transformation shows us the power of love and care in bringing life and happiness back to even the most damaged creatures.
